Care and Maintenance

Newport Exteriors siding will resist most stains. Oil, grease, soil, leaves, grime and hard water stains can usually be removed with the garden hose and maybe light rubbing with a sponge. In wet or moist areas where mildew or mold forms, you can mix together a mild detergent and water to use with a sponge to wash off.  A low pressure wash can be used to take heavy dirt and grime off the siding.

For more stubborn spots you can use a sponge with a mixture of water and a mild fabric bleach such as Clorox. The mixture should be 95% water and only 5% bleach. IMPORTANT – Always rinse thoroughly to insure no detergent or bleach is left on the siding after washing is complete.

Never use abrasives or harsh chemicals on vinyl siding.
